I’m passionate about social justice, equity, and empowering students to overcome the obstacles to higher education. I’m proud to be an AP US History Teacher and OneGoal Program Director. I’m driven to closing the degree divide, that is taking action to end systems of oppression and challenges us to go beyond. My curriculum is unique, grounded in rigorous cultural relevant pedagogy, and is proven successful.
As a current educator at South Early College High School I have taught many first-generation students, people of color, and those disproportionally underrepresented in higher education. I would like to be part of the solution in putting an end to this travesty by sharing my skills, expertise, and growth mindset.
